Crema Marfil Coto®, one of the most beautiful marbles in the world, shines in the interior and exterior of the MUCA Auditorium and Music School in La Algueña

In a natural space of sober and austere beauty stands the MUCA Auditorium and Music School, designed by Miguel Ródenas and Jesús Olivares of COR y Asociados. The town of Algueña in Alicante now gets to enjoy an iconic building designed from an old Civil Guard barracks that today hosts music events. The omnipresence of Crema Marfil Coto® marble in the interiors creates a subtle atmosphere, full of spirituality, perfect for an enclosure where the magic flows from notes and rhythms.

An architectural project of simple spirituality.

The omnipresence of Crema Marfil Coto® marble in the interiors creates a subtle atmosphere, full of spirituality

From a whiteness full of nuances, and with a resistance that has made it the star par excellence of architecture throughout history, Crema Marfil Coto® marble is used on the dazzling floors, walls, stairs and surfaces inside MUCA, and gleam like the pearly and iridescent exterior of the building. As a tribute to the marble quarry located in the town, both materials form a block inspired by stone to create a project that is as rational as it is inspired.
