The quarry from which Levantina extracts Golden Shell, a biocalcirudite lumachelle sandstone formed from calcite, quartz and feldspar. This material is characterised by having encased inside it the remains of living creatures carried by the currents from a distant place until they were agglomerated and the compact stone was created. It has a recognisable, highly characteristic orange-ochre colour.
