Health and Safety is one of the fundamentals of Levantina’s mission.
In accordance with its vision and mission, for Levantina to be a leader in the Natural Stone sector also means leading the sector in standards of Health and Safety. Levantina reaffirms this commitment with its workers, contracts, communities and clients to provide a safe working environment, committing itself to this principle as one of the company’s fundamental values.
The activities of the Levantina Group are there focused on providing the necessary means to implement a culture of safety at all levels and in all the operations the company carries out.
To this end in 2013 Levantina set up its Health and Safety Policy as the basis of its commitment to Health and Safety.
Safety First
A project to raise awareness of and implement a culture of safety among Levantina managers carried out in Spain, UK, Brazil and the USA.
Safety Day
Together with the Levantina Foundation, the company organises outreach campaigns for schools to get to know the working environment through visits to its facilities.
GrupoErgo Project
A project to improve the ergonomic conditions of the workers in the factories and quarries which won Levantina an award from the Valencian Autonomous Government ”2014 Distinction for developing proposals or innovative practical solutions in the prevention of risks at work”. The project is based on participatory ergonomics promoted by teamwork at all levels of the company in order to carry out preventive measures.
Healthy company
Levantina Group together with its partners in the health sector is carrying out activities to promote healthy habits among its employees at all levels (sports, diet, good practices to promote healthy behaviour) in order to reinforce the preventive culture in all areas, both at work and in their personal life.

Levantina Group always aims to give its clients added value in all the products it supplies, so it provides guides and technical documentation on the use of the materials which give the client the necessary information on the characteristics of the material throughout its whole lifecycle and also health and safety information: from preparation to installation to regular use and up to its final removal.
